It is with deep sadness that the Police Administration announces the death of No. 249 Senior Sergeant Pelle. Mr. John Devon Pelle was born on January 3, 1963 and was enlisted in the police force on October 27, 1980.

He worked in several departments; including Immigration, the Criminal Investigations Department, the Collators Office, Dockyard Police Station and Store Room, where he was last attached.

Commissioner of Police, Mr. Atlee Rodney expresses condolences to his immediate family, whom he met and spoke with following his passing. He is also expressing condolences to his colleagues on behalf of the rank and file of the police force.

Senior Sergeant Pelle died on Sunday 7th January 2024 at the age of 61 years. He served the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda for 43 unbroken years.

Further details of his funeral will be given at a later date. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
