Isa Naomie Roselyn Francis

The Francis, Paige and Abbott families announce the passing of our beloved Ms. Isa Naomie Roselyn Francis of St. Philips Village, Antigua. She died at the age of 67 years old. Isa was the daughter of the late Mrs. Eileen Paige-Abbott and the late Issac Francis.

Left to mourn are her children: Coleen Cole-Jackson, Craig Cole, Chelo Francis and Al-Quamin Nibbs. She was the mother-in-law of Larry Jackson, Shantel Victor-Cole and Rene Nibbs.
She was the grandmother of Lamique Browne, Nia Roberts, Ajani, Tarrik, Natalia and Madison Jackson, Elijah Francis, McKenzie, Olivia and Alexis Cole.
Isa was the sister of David, Elsina, Cleotha, Ronnie, Alvis-May and Derrick Abbott, David Francis, Fitzpatrick, Dante, Devon, Keithley, Cindy Francis of North Carolina and Texas, Eugen Francis and family of Old Road, the late Ira Francis and the late Juditha Francis-Porter.
She was the sister-in-law of Sylvanie Abbott of St. Philips Village, Sylvita Francis of Old Road and Janet Ferguson-Francis of North Carolina. Isa was the aunt of 46 nieces and nephews both here (Antigua) and overseas.
She was the adopted mother of Arica Wyre and family, Dr. Leon Cox and family, Telly George and family, Edlorn Lewis, Dacia Bailey and family, Craig Joseph, Ava-Maria Thomas-Weston.

She was the niece of Leontine Paige and family of Willikies and Cerene Richards and family of Graysfarm, the late Dora Paige-Joseph and family, the late Christobel Pete, the late Edris Paige-Lloyd and family, the late Mildred Emmanuel and family, the late Louristine Paige and family, the late Elrick Paige and family, the late Sybil Paige-Edwards and family and the late Inspector Rolston Paige and family.
She was the cousin of the late Relton Joseph and family of Graysfarm, Hilarine Tanner and family of Nut Grove, Valonie, Evelyn and Albertine and families of New York, Nurse Verna Joyce and family, Kendal Charles and family of Newfield, Baldwin Joyce and family of Pigotts Village, Ethlyn and Goldine Harris of Pares, Patrick Emmanuel and family of Vernons, Charmaine, Terrance, Bertram, Dale, Juniel, Joel and Rolston “Butchie” Paige and their families.

Isa was the friend of the villagers of the St. Philips Parish and also the very close friend of Sandra Joseph and family of Newfield, Cordell Mussington, Lincoln Edwards, Beverly Allen, Leslie Mills, Glenford Knight, Stacey Payne-Mascall and family.
Mrs. Jose Joseph, Avon Emmanuel, Mrs. Rosa Greenaway and the entire staff of the Ministry of Education, the staff of the Board of Education, the staff and members of the Antigua and Barbuda Union of Teachers, the National Office of Disaster Services, Red Cross, Visual Arts and Craft teachers, staff and past students of the All Saints Secondary, Ottos Comprehensive, Clarehall Secondary, Jennings Secondary and Greenbay Primary Schools.
She was also the friend of Fitzroy Daley and family, the Baileys of Falmouth, the Mellansons and an honorary member of the Estate Life Crew in St. Phillips and the Antigua and Barbuda Curvy Divas Group.
Isa had many more relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The cortege bearing the mortal remains of the late Isa Naomie Roselyn Francis of St. Phillips Village will leave Straffies Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday 26 th July 2023 for the thanksgiving service at St. Phillips Anglican Church at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will be in the churchyard cemetery. An offering will be collected for the upkeep of the church. May her soul rest in perpetual peace.
