V.C. Bird International Airport – Travel is indeed an adventure, but these Antiguan ladies are taking it to epic levels.

In January 2019, they made history by rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua.

Kevinia Francis, Samara Emmanuel, Christal Clashing and Elvira Bell are aiming to enter the records book again as part of the Talisker Whiskey Pacific Challenge.

Kevinia, Samara, Christal left the VC Bird International on Monday 29th May 2023 for California, where their latest ocean row will begin in Monterey Harbour and end 2,800 miles away in Hawaii. Elvira is to join them later.

The Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority and the V.C Bird International wish them well as they once again bid to do our country proud!
