Inland Revenue Department (IRD) – Ms. Jean Simon joined the Civil Service on 9th February 1988 as a Junior Clerk at the Inland Revenue Department.

During her distinguished tenure at the Department, Ms. Simon held the positions of Senior Clerk, Revenue Officer, Assistant Field Auditor 1, Assistant Secretary, Senior Assistant Secretary, and Assistant Commissioner and worked in various sections such as Cashiering, Stamp Duty, Collections and Licensing.

Ms. Simon was a trained and certified Tax Administrator and was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies in 2011.

Jean was a dedicated worker and produced work of a high standard. She will be greatly missed by the Management and Staff of the Inland Revenue Department.
